BIOGRAPHY

Pia Byrd is the Student Support Specialist in the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office. She handles graduate affairs and offers support in a safe and confidential environment for graduate students to discuss concerns or grievances outside formal channels. Pia joined the Staff Council in 2021 to acknowledge and celebrate the value of Rice staff as the foundation of campus culture. She is delighted to serve and welcomes all staff to reach out to her.
