BIOGRAPHY

Suzanne Scott Gibbs holds a master’s degree in public history and originally came to Rice University in 2006 as the Assistant Editor of a now-completed documentary edition publication. In 2014 she moved down the hall in Fondren Library and became Assistant Editor of the Journal of Southern History. After having served on Staff Council during its formative years, she rejoined in 2026 to become more involved in campus events and foster community and connections for staff all across campus.
