BIOGRAPHY

Owen joined the Staff Council in 2024 and looks forward to becoming more involved with staff advocacy around the University. Since joining JGSB in 2018, Owen has been driven by her commitment to excellence and passion for organization and efficiency. In addition to working with faculty on various administrative processes, she oversees and manages a department of 15 people who provide course, administrative, and auxiliary support to JGSB faculty.  Owen brings strong organizational skills and a positive attitude to the Staff Council, and looks forward to supporting the Rice Community however she can. In her free time, Owen enjoys gardening, hiking, and writing.
