BIOGRAPHY

Mecia Emale (she/her) supports career development and employer engagement for five professional master’s programs in the School of Social Sciences. Before stepping into this role, she led undergraduate initiatives in the school and has worked in student-facing positions for over a decade. Since joining Rice in 2022, she’s become a Resident Associate at Martel College and continues to invest in building meaningful student connections and helping others thrive. Mecia joined Staff Council to connect with colleagues across campus and help make Rice a more engaging, collaborative, and fun place to work.
