BIOGRAPHY

Meagan (she/her) manages all things academic program related in the EEPS department: tracking graduate student progress and related data, program guidelines and handbooks, stipend funding, admissions and recruiting, and accreditation reports for both undergraduate and graduate programs. She also assists with a summer REU program led by one of the department faculty, as well. Meagan graduated from the University of North Texas, with a B.A. in Creative Writing, and has a background in the service and events industries. She’s a mom to a person with albinism (Daisy), a rescue Springer Spaniel (Charlie), and a very talkative rescue kitty (Mini). She is also a die-hard Houston Sabercats fan and a lover of all things rugby. Meagan joined Staff Council in 2023 with the goal of helping to support and improve the Culture of Care for, what she believes, is the backbone of the Rice University organization.
