BIOGRAPHY

Liz Hutchinson (She/Her) is a Research Administrator in the George R. Brown School of Engineering and Computing where she supports engineering faculty with preparing and submitting research grant proposals. Liz graduated from Rice in 2007 with a B.A. in English, and during her time as an undergraduate, she was passionate about serving the Rice community as an O-Week Coordinator and the Martel Prime Minister. Before returning to Rice as a staff member, Liz taught ELA in Houston ISD and co-founded a nonprofit organization that provides mobile shower services to people experiencing homelessness in Houston. She looks forward to continuing to serve through participation in the Staff Advocacy committee of Staff Council.
