BIOGRAPHY

Gabriela Mendoza serves as Program Operations Lead for the Sustainability Institute, where she supports institute programs, events, communications, and day-to-day operations. Before joining Rice, she spent several years in education, serving as an educator and campus administrator with a focus on student support, staff development, and community engagement. Gabriela joined Staff Council to connect with colleagues across campus, advocate for staff, and contribute to building a strong and supportive Rice community. Outside of work, she enjoys creative projects, event planning, and spending time with her family.
