BIOGRAPHY

In my role, I work with researchers and the academic administration of Rice University to ensure that we fulfill responsibilities for research integrity at Rice. This means I wear several hats. For example, I aid with investigations into accusations of research misconduct (e.g., falsification, fabrication, and plagiarism). I also assist with additional areas of research integrity, such as the development of practices and procedures in human subjects research, our institutional biosafety program, and other areas where federal funding or federal regulations establish requirements for researchers and the university. I have worked at Rice in various areas since 2015 and joined staff council in 2024. I hope to help serve as a liaison between staff and the administration.
