BIOGRAPHY
Andrea Herrera joined the Student Center in 2021 as its inaugural Assistant Director of Marketing and Programs. In this role, she leads the department’s marketing and branding efforts, implements strategic marketing plans, manages the Student Center’s social media presence with support from a student assistant, and designs all promotional materials. Andrea also oversees the planning and execution of the Student Center’s social events and Weeks of Welcome. Andrea serves as co-chair of Hispanic Heritage Month for the second consecutive year and is an associate at Jones College. She joined staff council in 2025 to help build a stronger sense of community, advocate for her colleagues, and contribute to a more positive and supportive staff experience across campus.
