Welcome to Staff Council
The primary purpose of the Staff Council is to build a collaborative staff community, facilitate professional growth and networking through a partnership with Human Resources, and create a culture of staff advocacy and partnership with the University’s administration that serves to support the formal University mission statement as defined by the Board of Trustees
The Staff Council will enable staff to actively participate in the Rice community
The Staff Council will enable staff to collaborate and incubate new communities of learners and ideas that affect staff interests and professional development
The Staff Council will tactfully partner with Rice administration in areas that affect the staff’s relationship with the larger university community
